Performance of PTFE Pipe and Cautions in Use
Tetrafluoride compensator is an important part of anti-corrosion pipeline, which plays an irreplaceable role in modern industry. It can be divided into steel lining, spraying type, medium-voltage mesh sleeve and other common types, below we will understand the nature of these types.
1. Tetrafluoride compensator with steel lining is made of stainless steel and PTFE. It has strong acid and alkali resistance and is not afraid of severe collision. Its continuous fatigue life can reach about 5000 times. Usually the temperature is less than 180 degrees Celsius.
2. For spray-type tetrafluoro compensator, the exterior is stainless steel corrugated compensator, and the interior surface is sprayed with fluorine materials such as PFA and F40, so its corrosion resistance is slightly worse than that of steel lining, but its fatigue frequency is more than 10,000 times, the wave number is unlimited and the length is less than 3,000 mm.
3. Rubber Tetrafluoride Composite Compensator is usually made according to the user's requirements. For example, what are the requirements for alkali resistance and temperature?
Fourth, fluorine bellows are made by special blow moulding. The PTFE pipe is heated to a certain temperature in a certain die, and given a certain internal pressure in the pipe, so that the pipe is transversely expanded (blown) and then cooled and shaped. Polytetrafluoroethylene bellows also have high flexibility and elasticity. According to the shape of the ripple, there are three types: V-shaped, U-shaped and_-shaped. As the connector of corrosion-resistant pipeline, it absorbs the change of pipeline length caused by thermal expansion and cold contraction, and has the dislocation connection function of connecting rigid and brittle pipelines.
In order to improve service performance, bellows can also be reinforced with metal rings, metal sleeves, rubber, etc. Bellows are tubular elastic sensing elements connected by foldable wrinkle sheets along the direction of folding and expansion. Bellows are widely used in instruments and instruments. They are mainly used as measuring elements of pressure measuring instruments to convert pressure into displacement or force.
The bellows have thin wall and high sensitivity, ranging from tens of MPa to tens of MPa. The opening end is fixed, the sealing end is in a free state, and the auxiliary coil spring or spring is used to increase the elasticity. When working under the action of internal pressure, it extends along the length direction of the pipe, resulting in displacement of the movable end which has a certain relationship with the pressure. The active end can directly indicate the pressure by driving the pointer.
